Milestones

The Bott Group’s success story began in 1930, when Wilhelm Bott founded a mechanical workshop in Gaildorf, Germany. In 1980, the company established a partnership with Lockpanel Ltd. (now Bott Ltd.) in Bude, UK for the production of perfo perforated panels, system cabinets, and storage cabinets.

During the 1980s, Bott expanded its portfolio to include modular vehicle equipment, setting new standards for mobile workspaces. The company’s international footprint grew with the opening of a production site in Hungary in 1992. In 2008, Bott introduced the modular cubio system, redefining modern industrial workspace design. The launch of the avero workstation system followed in 2013, offering intelligent solutions for assembly production environments aligned with Industry 4.0 standards. The company celebrated its 90th anniversary in 2020 and has since accelerated its focus on digitally networked workplace solutions.
